# 2020 - what year it was!
He surprised us in so many ways. We had to redefine almost all activities of everyday life, learn a new environment. It sowed uncertainty but also showed that we are capable of heroic gestures, selfless help to other people, and also acts of discord when fundamental values are violated.
It was also an exceptional year for SelfMaker. A breakthrough, full of surprising twists and turns, packed with hard work and dedication of the entire team without which all this would not be possible.
It's hard to express in a few words the gratitude we have to the people who support us, believe in our abilities, and constantly support us. Team #selfevolution already consists of over 1,600 people from nearly 40 countries who, like us, believe that permanent changes do not happen overnight and that the development of technology should serve people.
This year also demanded more flexibility than usual. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the first batch of the SelfClean disinfection kiosk was launched in less than 3 weeks. Thanks to this, we did not slow down even for a moment, but accelerated this year, achieving what was planned for the coming years.
To mention only:
🌍 Entering foreign markets. From 2020, we also have an office and warehouse in Malaga (Spain)
📈 In 2020, we doubled the number of customers, and only until June 2020 we gained as many new orders as in the entire 2019 (!)
👫 New people joined the SelfMaker Team, mainly in the design, IT, and production departments
