The global, well-known technology giant - Google, chose Malaga, the city close to our heart, as the location for its new cybersecurity center. The 2,500 square meters of office space will host training sessions, debates, workshops and mentoring programs in the field of IT security, as well as advanced research and development activities.
The main investor and resident of the new center is VirusTotal, a company owned by Google, with 40 employees and the largest security database in the digital world. Every day, it analyzes millions of files and addresses that may be potentially dangerous, while cooperating with giants such as Facebook, Apple, Netflix and Samsung.

Every year, Malaga is maturing more and more, to become the real "Spanish Silicon Valley", thanks to the headquarters of new technology companies from around the world springing up like mushrooms after rain. Many American and Asian companies decide to set up their European branches here, because the city offers great opportunities for establishing close business cooperation, thanks to the presence of representatives of all industries. The choice is wide: from incubators, entrepreneurship accelerators, through startups and small but innovative companies, to global technology tycoons.
All this makes Málaga a place where you "have to be" if you plan to gradually conquer the world of modern technologies. It is a place perfect for the organization of business meetings, fairs and conferences, which is facilitated by an excellent, modern infrastructure, a wide hotel base, great weather and unique, varied cuisine.
