The disinfection devices went to the FONIS Foundation from Wrocław, the Independent Public Healthcare Institution of the University Clinical Hospital of the Norbert Barlicki, Orphanage no. 9 in Łódź and Medical Magnus Clinic in Łódź. SelfMaker also reacted during the "first" wave of COVID-19 by donating 12 SelfCleans for the needs of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, which the foundation distributed in accordance with the current needs of individual institutions.
“We are aware of the difficult situation of hospitals and clinics as well as institutions such as orphanages. Regular hand disinfection is one of the main elements limiting the spread of the virus, and the facilities we donate are places of increased risk. We know that every support is extremely important, which is why we decided to donate our products to Łódź institutions. Those devices have a real impact on improving safety in these institutions” - says Marek Wieteska, CEO of SelfMaker.
“From 1 July this year, works on the extension of the Mobile Nativity Scene are underway. If everything goes as planned, on December 24, 2020 you will be able to see the final effect of several months of work. Out of concern for the safety of visitors of St. Sebastian chapel in the Church of Lady Mary in Piasek, we obtained specialized equipment for hand disinfection. We would like to thank Selfmaker, which donated a SelfClean kiosk. We are glad that there are companies like Selfmaker that selflessly support non-profit organizations" - says Małgorzata Królewicz-Głód from the FONIS Foundation
Until recently, when sports competitions were held with fans, the SelfMaker company provided its disinfection stations free of charge for the needs of these events, ensuring the safety of participants. That happened during the Ultrapark Weekend in Łódź or the final of the Polish Deaf Football Championship.
