Self-service registration kiosk for DIAGNOSTYKA medical laboratories
We most often find self-service devices in retail outlets. Self-service checkouts appear in the most popular food discount stores, and invoice machines are a standard view in DIY stores. The service sector also benefits from automation by offering ticket queuing systems in offices, or kiosks for placing orders in restaurants. Today, however, we will present the use of self-service in a completely different industry - in medicine.
FASTER, EASIER AND SAFER REGISTRATION IN DIAGNOSTYKA MEDICAL LABORATORIES
SelfMaker specializes in designing solutions tailored to the needs of a specific client. In case of DIAGNOSTYKA laboratories, it was not necessary to create a whole new device, but only to adapt the existing equipment to the new role. The flagship SelfBox self-service checkout was used as the basis for the registration kiosk. It’s software and components have been adjusted to fulfill the functions required by the client in the most practical way.
So we have a very large and legible touch screen, code reader, printer and a cashless payment terminal. The operation of the device itself is very intuitive and available to every patient, regardless of age and familiarity with technology.
What are the functionalities of this self-service kiosk?
Currently, the devices can be found in several locations in Poland, including in Krakow, Katowice and Warsaw, and the company is already planning further implementations.
