3th September was the final day of the 24th edition of one of the most important polish fairs for the catering industry - EuroGastro. Every year, the event attracts a wide group of restaurant and hotel managers, suppliers and producers of solutions for the HoReCa sector. It is a great opportunity to establish business contacts and learn about the latest market trends.
As heard from the conversations between the stands - this year's edition, which was originally supposed to take place in spring 2020, attracted a smaller number of visitors and exhibitors. This is probably the result of the problems the industry has to deal with after the outbreak of the pandemic. Decision makers approach new investments with caution, looking for solutions that will save them time and costs and will help to ensure the safety of their customers.
Therefore, automation solutions were of particular interest among visitors. Together with our Partner - Primulator Polska - we presented the result of our six-month cooperation - a self-service gastronomic point - SelfCoffee. Thanks to the SelfBox self-service checkout, visitors could order a meal, prepare their own coffee or buy a product from a vending machine. The modular structure of SelfCoffee gives great flexibility in adapting the device to the space of the premises and the customer's needs. Therefore, it will be perfect both in restaurants and cafes, but also in a hotel lobby or office building.
